On our first race at Tattershall round 1-2 we didn't know what to expect but were determined to give it all. We booked in to the nearest travel in we could find and set off to Tattershall We all arrived in time for tea, just what the girls needed no COOKING and LOTS of ALCOHOL (sorry girls)...

...we had no idea what to expect Martin having only ever watched 1 race at close hand, Richard only ever watched on SKY...

...determined not to disgrace ourselves...

...we were both put into different heats Martin drew the short straw and landed himself in MOTO 1 A, after a poor start he looked to make up ground only to knock off his lanyard loosing him places, his final position being 8th over all...

...Richard started MOTO 1 B with a flyer (thanks to a pair of expert hands/advice from a more experienced rider) after the holeshot his was in 3rd place. Then disaster struck he missed a buoy and lost 3 places finishing 6th.

...MOTO 2 B FINAL. Quick off the mark after the holeshot the we in the first five after a couple of laps Martin was 3rd and Richard 5th. We all stood and held our breath as they flew round. After what felt like a life time the white flag was raised, Martin held on in there to claim a well deserved 3rd. On the very last lap Richard recovered ground from earlier coming out of the splitter buoys ahead, coming across the line in 4th...

...well done boys you made us proud...
